Building Cleaning Services Completes Mold Removal for Government Building in CA

LOS ANGELES, CA: Building Cleaning Services (BCS), (http://buildingcleaningservices.net/) a Los Angeles mold remediation and building cleaning company, has completed mold removal and handled the resulting damage for a government-owned facility in California.

Building Cleaning Services was the chosen company to handle mold infestation and damage at a government-owned facility in California. A large management agency that oversees the facility contacted BCS and secured them to address the major mold problems that had occurred as a result of roof leaks causing water damage. As the infestation was in their Wellness Center, it was vital that this be addressed quickly and professionally for the health and safety of both clients and staff.

Mold spore counts were established by an independent mold testing company before BCS began the job and tested again following remediation. The inspector was highly complementary of the meticulous containment BCS had erected to protect inhabitants from the mold and the quality of the mold remediation performed.

Building Cleaning Services has had much success as a Los Angeles mold remediation company. One of their customers stated: “We use Building Cleaning Services at the company where I work (and have been for the last few years). They are consistently great and professional. Alan still calls us regularly to make sure we are happy with the services. If there is ever anything that is an issue or needs special attention, they are accessible and make sure everything is taken care of. They come on a weekly basis to clean several offices, studios and a couple bathrooms and everything is always clean. Their prices are reasonable and we have never had a problem.”

American Dental Excellence Offers Same-Day Dentures

WESTMINSTER, CO: Dr. Kenneth Polke, (http://americandentalexcellence.com), founder of American Dental Excellence in Westminster, CO, in the Denver area, offers the Larell One Step Denture which can be completed in one visit (about an hour), without any follow-up visits or adjustments.

Most dentures have been made the same way for about a hundred years with little change. It used to take four or five visits to the dentist and then more visits for adjustments. They were an expensive but necessary solution for many dental patients. Over 37 million people in the US currently wear dentures and that number increases by 2-3 million every year.

Stock dentures have a poor fit and can be loose and uncomfortable. You don’t want to have to worry about your teeth or have them causing you embarrassment. With same-day dentures you can have a complete, custom-fit denture made for you in one visit without any follow-up visits or further adjustments. One step dentures are great for people who need dentures but can’t afford the high cost or long wait of traditional dentures.

Dr. Polke stated “The Larell One Step Dentures are a viable, high quality, affordable, and fast solution for people who need dentures. It eliminates the high cost and long wait. We are pleased to be offering this to patients in the Denver area.”

AmericanDentalExcellence.com: Saving Time With Same-day Crowns

By Dr. Kenneth J. Polke

When a tooth has become damaged or decayed, it may need to be crowned or “capped.” The cap restores the original appearance and functionality of the tooth.

Dental caps are extremely durable and made with a custom fit that covers the entire tooth beginning at the gum line.

In the past, the process required at least two trips (sometimes three) to the dentist, uncomfortable alignment impressions, a temporary crown and waiting from one to three weeks for a lab to make the permanent crown.

A new innovation in digital technology now makes same-day dental crowns possible. The entire procedure is completed in one time-saving visit using a camera, computer and milling machine incorporated into one instrument. This advancement in restorative dentistry eliminates the need for alignment impressions, temporary crowns or the use of an outside lab to construct the crown.

The process starts the same way as traditional crowns, by preparing the tooth for the cap. First, the area is numbed and the damaged tooth is drilled to get rid of any decay and to shape it for the crown. This makes sure the crown will fit perfectly when placed over the damaged tooth.

Instead of taking an impression of the area using a putty-like substance (the procedure for traditional crowns), your teeth are lightly dusted with reflective powder. Then, a wand with a built-in small camera that is attached to the computer takes a picture of the area. The camera uses reflected light from the powder to create a three-dimensional image of the drilled tooth and adjoining teeth.

The image is then electronically transferred onto a computer screen. Special Computer Aided Design (CAD) software creates the cap design from the image. All the details are included in the design, from size and shape to indentations and ridges. The software also allows for easy modification of the design as needed. You can even create a mirror-image of the same non-damaged tooth on the other side of your mouth.

The final cap design is sent to the milling machine with a single mouse click. The machine sculpts the cap from a tiny ceramic block that is the closest match to the natural color of your teeth. The carving process takes about five minutes.

The appearance of the cap can be further enhanced with quick-drying stain and glaze. The stain and glaze are painted on to the crown using tiny brushes. After the additional coloring has been completed, the finished crown is placed in your mouth and bonded to the old tooth.

The entire process can be completed while you wait, usually within an hour.

Just like traditional caps, same-day dental caps are extremely durable and will have a natural looking appearance. They are maintained just like your own teeth – with daily brushing and flossing, which will help reduce dental plaque build-up. If you grind your teeth at night, make sure you wear a nightguard.

Same-day caps will not only save you time in the dental chair, you’ll be able to quickly and easily restore your beautiful smile.
