LOS ANGELES— Al Brooks Tickets (www.albrooks.comPhantom of the Opera) today announced that theater tickets are still available for the final Los Angeles performances of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “The Phantom of the Opera.” L.A.’s Pantages Theatre is the last stop on a national tour that began more than 17 years ago.

The Phantom of the Opera is Broadway’s longest-running show and musical,” says Jeff Brooks, owner of Al Brooks Tickets. “This is the last chance to see some of the most lavish sets, costumes and special effects ever brought to the stage.”

The Phantom of the Opera” is adapted from Gaston Leroux’s classic novel of mystery and suspense. Directed by Harold Prince, it tells the tragic love story of a beautiful opera singer and a young composer shamed by his physical appearance into a shadowy existence beneath the majestic Paris Opera House.

Phantom’s final Los Angeles engagement begins September 23rd, with an expected close date in November. The first national tour of Phantom started in Los Angeles in 1989. Since then, various national tours of "Phantom" have played in 98 cities around the country for a combined total of over 14,000 performances.
